Boulevard

Can applaud connect to Boulevard?

YesReady: automatic connection

How it connects

Best way

Connects automatically

Boulevard sends each visit to applaud as it happens. Nothing for your team to do day to day.

Boulevard Admin API: appointment.completed webhook to applaud (Enterprise custom app)

Connects automatically: Boulevard

  1. Confirm the practice is on Boulevard's Enterprise tier (custom apps and API access are Enterprise-only) and has HIPAA Coverage with the BAA signed in Manage Business > Security.
  2. The practice creates a Boulevard Dashboard login for applaud's developer with Access Dashboard, login from any IP, and Manage Apps & Integrations permissions.
  3. applaud opens the Developer Portal > Manage Apps > Create new app, accepts the Developer Agreement and uploads an offline (machine-to-machine) manifest asking only for appointment:read, client:read, client:phone:read and client:email:read (each with a justification Boulevard reviews) and webhook event appointment.completed; then publishes it.
  4. The practice's admin installs it: Manage Business > Apps & Integrations > Custom Apps > Install, pasting the Application ID.
  5. applaud gets a token with client credentials and calls createWebhook for each location with APPOINTMENT_COMPLETED pointing at applaud's HTTPS receiver (applaud must build this Boulevard adapter; it doesn't exist today).
  6. The receiver checks the x-blvd-oauth-hmac signature, de-duplicates on idempotencyKey, answers 2xx within 15 seconds, and posts client.firstName + client.mobilePhone (+ lastName, email, startAt date) to POST https://applaud.you/api/v1/contacts. A daily appointments query by startAt can back it up.

Other ways, in order

Option 2

Connects by export

Recent patients are exported from Boulevard and uploaded to applaud. A couple of minutes, and we can set it up with you.

Clients tab filtered by last completed appointment, exported to CSV, uploaded to applaud

Connects by export: Boulevard

  1. A user with the Export Reports / client list export permission opens Clients, adds a filter for last appointment date (e.g. yesterday) and clicks Export current list.
  2. The CSV has first and last name, mobile number and email; upload it to applaud (one run per day or week).

Option 3

Connects through a partner tool

A connector tool links Boulevard to applaud.

Keragon: Boulevard 'Appointment events' trigger, filtered to completed, then HTTP POST to applaud

Connects through a partner tool: Boulevard

  1. The practice (or applaud for it) opens a Keragon account (BAA standard on paid plans) and connects Boulevard; Keragon doesn't publish what Boulevard credential or plan its connector needs, so confirm first whether it works below Enterprise.
  2. Build a workflow starting with Boulevard 'Appointment events'; filter to the completed event (appointment.completed) only.
  3. If the event lacks the mobile number, add a lookup step; then an HTTP request to POST https://applaud.you/api/v1/contacts with applaud's Bearer key, mapping first name, mobile, last name, email and visit date.
