  1. applaud registers once as a Certified FHIR API vendor in ModMed's vendor dashboard and creates a Bulk FHIR app (the same app can serve EMA and gGastro practices), asking only for system/Patient.rs and system/Encounter.rs. The vendor's example requests every clinical scope, so whether MMI enables a narrowed app is unconfirmed (email synapsys@modmed.com). Read the Certified FHIR API Terms of Use first: that page was blocked to automated reading on 2026-10-01.
  2. Each gGastro practice's Admin adds applaud's ClientID under Admin > Manage Bulk FHIR; the practice's FHIR base URL is public (gastro.prod.fhir.ema-api.com).
  3. Daily, applaud searches Encounter (status finished, date since the last run), reads each Patient for first name and phone, and posts to the intake API. Never call the bulk $export operations: they return the whole USCDI clinical data set.
